Eerie Ultimatum is awesome in highlander formats like EDH, while Emergent Ultimatum saw a lot of Constructed play in ramp decks
Despite only providing half of the infamous Doubling Season's effect, it more than earns its place in many player's libraries
I also like it in Type Four which often has elevated casting costs to bring back due to the infinite mana nature of the format, and bringing back a giant 10/10 and gaining 8 life in one card is pretty strong there
There are various ways to use this effect, such as buffing a wide board of Snakes once each before crashing in, or buffing a single Snake, ideally your commander, up multiple times and attacking for lethal thanks to commander damage
In a normal eight-person draft, you open one of your packs, select a card, put it face down in a pile in front of you, then pass the rest of the pack to your left
It may be narrow, but its incredibly powerful against Elementals and other decks that lean on enter the battlefield effects
